WildCharge iPhone Review (wireless iPhone Charging)

WildCharge has released an iPhone adapter for it’s wireless charging system. In case you didn’t see our review from the WildCharge launch, here how it works… The system requires two things, a special WildCharge Pad and an adapter for your particular device. Most of the adapters are universal and will allow you connect almost any device. To charge your phone, PDA, and etc you simply place it on the pad. It is almost like magic! This easy system is great for people who hate plugging and unplugging devices. If you get a phone call, simply pick up your cell phone instead of unplugging it.
Durring our original WildCharge review, we tested the WildCharge with the Sony Erricson w880,the Motorola Razor, and the Richard Solo 1800 battery pack for the iPhone. Everything worked and charged beautifully. Almost a year later of daily use, all three of the device’s batteries are in perfect condition. The WildCharge system does a great job of not over charging your gear.

On to the iPhone! Unlike the rest of the WildCharge adapters, the iPhone adapter is a case. I was extremely impressed with the case because of its construction. Most gel/rubber iPhone cases feel flimsy, but this is not the case. It feels extremely solid. You can tell that it is made of high-grade rubber which snuggly fits around your iPhone, iPhone 3G, or iPhone3GS. For $39, the case is worth the price even if you don’t have a WildCharge Pad.
The WildCharge System takes just as long to charge the phone as the iPhone’s OEM charger, but it is way more convenient. Their is only one negative to the iPhone case / adapter, you have to take it out of the case in order to use a car charger or sync the iPhone.
The iPhone WildCharge Case and WildCharge Pad is the perfect accessory for any iPhone power user. Never run with a low battery, just set your iPhone on the pad and pick it up when you need it!

It’s pity that you can’t sync iPhones and iPod Touches over Bluetooth, like you can with most Windows Mobile-powered phones. That would be a real good thing…

That would be awesome. The only option you really have is syncing your contacts, bookmarks and calendar with exchange or mobile me.
It would be amazing if you could sync it with iTunes over wifi like Apple TV does.
